The self centering drill bit is another tool I can't live without. Gone are the days of trying to center a bit in a hole. The cupped end of the bit allows it to plunge into the bevel of the hole, and the bit is centered automagically.

If the bit should break, it's easy to replace. Just loosen the set screw and install a new bit.
