FINISHING--Buffing the finished body before waxing
Buffing uses friction to warm up the surface. Heat from the rapid movement of the polishing or buffing pad forces the molecules into a state we perceive as "shiny" or "flat."
Either method, by hand or by machine, will yield great results. The final level of "glow" is completely up to your taste.
Using a large wheel buffing machine with dual buffs and medium and fine buffing compounds is another possibility. You can even build your own buffing machine for this purpose if you decide to dig deeper into the art and science of building electric guitars.
Much more is being added to this site. I'll continue to provide detailed videos about all things electric guitar. Unlock all of the courses on "building, finishing and making your electric guitar play great" .... some link here.
